JOB SUMMARY:
The Senior Business Consultant will provide consulting services to Jenzabar customers on the implementation, training and best use of our CX & JICS software systems. This position requires expertise in Financial Aid systems, regulations and processes, along with a solid understanding of Higher Education. Candidate should have knowledge of all Financial Aid processes and best practices. This position also requires the ability to manage individual relationships and the ability to train user groups on how to best use the Jenzabar software.
PRICIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Senior Business Consultant is responsible for leading the implementation process for the Jenzabar CX Financial Aid system. The Senior Business Consultant will work with the client in the interpretation and definition of the client?s institutional requirements in order to maximize their use of the Jenzabar software. The consultant will bring industry experience to the process and make the appropriate recommendations.
The candidate would assist users in the setup and training requirements of both the CX Financial Aid and corresponding web ?based CRM?s. In addition to implementation training, consultants may perform customizations and configuration updates. The Senior Business Consultant will also work with other members of the Jenzabar team to define a potential custom solution to meet the customer?s business needs.
The Senior Business Consultant will provide feedback as to the feasibility of particular enhancements and recommendations in regards to using the Jenzabar software. The Senior Business Consultant may participate in sales calls, assist in scoping add on work and assist in development of services proposals.
The Senior Business Consultant will be expected to travel up to 32 weeks per year and will be in the office during normal business hours when not traveling or visiting customer locations. This position will also work in conjunction with all other levels of Business Consultants.
EDUCATION: BS, BA Degree or equivalent experience
EXPERIENCE:
2 ? 5 years of ERP system implementation experience and / or 2-5 year of Financial Aid experience within the Higher Education marketplace. BS, BA Degree
SPECIAL SKILLS :
?Preferred familiarity with Jenzabar CX or other competitive ERP software for the higher education market.
?Training and Presentation experience
?Excellent analytical skills as well as written communication skills
?Report writing and / or SQL Language knowledge a plus, but not required for this position.
