The ideal candidate has an entrepreneurial spirit, with the desire to lead a new business category and contribute significantly to accelerating company growth. He/she will be based in the Chicago area and will focus on helping Legacy.com?s newspaper affiliates expand their business with funeral homes throughout the U.S.
In addition to being a results-driven, solutions-oriented revenue producer, the right candidate is analytically minded with experience leveraging CRM tools to deploy informed marketing strategies. He/she is a self-motivated individual who can work independently and collaboratively while directing others.

Grow a strategically important, multi-million dollar revenue channel.
Oversee the formulation of marketing strategies to acquire new customers and engage existing clients using cross-platform strategies, such as e-mail, social media, events and direct mail.
Develop and lead a high-performing team of marketing, sales and account management professionals.
Work closely with Legacy?s Newspaper Affiliate team to ensure proper fulfillment of products/services distributed through this channel.
Provide and gather marketplace feedback, contributing to the development of new marketing programs and products.
Establish a sound methodology for using Legacy's CRM system to identify high-priority markets and prospects.
Collaborate with Legacy?s Advertising and Product teams to monitor existing products and identify key new opportunities.
Five (5) years of digital work experience in marketing, business development and/or sales.
Proven experience as a revenue-generating business development or marketing professional.
Track record of generating demand for new digital products.
Entrepreneurial spirit and the desire to be responsible for growth.
Demonstrated ability to manage client relationships.
Background in B-to-B marketing of digital products or services.
Experience managing people in sales/marketing functions tied to revenue goals
Exceptional communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
Extremely proactive, high-energy approach.
Exceptional attention to detail.
Ability to think and plan strategically and tactically.
Bachelor?s degree in business or related field.
