Sr. Business Development Manager - Federal Systems Palo Alto Networks
Responsibilities:
- Develop and drive the business activities with Federal Systems Integrators for Palo Alto Networks
- Establish and develop a process to work with and sell through key Federal Systems Integrators
- Develop long-term strategies and relationships with Federal SI's to win major government contracts
- Lead Federal business development strategy and collaborate with Federal Sales team to increase revenue and surface large security opportunities with Federal SI's
- Engage appropriate Palo Alto Networks resources at key influence points (executive sponsorships, product management, etc.) to assist in winning business proposals and penetrate long term relationships with Federal SI's.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree; MBA a plus.
- Requires a minimum of 5-7+ years SI Federal Sales/BD experience.
- Candidate must have an existing network of professional contacts in the Federal space.
- Demonstrated experience and aptitude in network security.
- Requires strong business & leadership skills.
- Must have ability to articulate suitable strategy for the business and lead execution with accountability & focus
- Capable of affecting change where required to resolve business bottlenecks with the end result in mind with a high level of persistence to overcome challenges.
- Strong communication skills and ability to influence across various functional groups within Palo Alto Networks team.
- Relevant, current industry experience and strategic technical insight to assist in penetrating target markets.
- US Citizenship and ability to secure and maintain a US Gov't security clearance.
