Turn is looking for a Sr. Commercialization Manager to enhance and oversee the global Go-To-Market process for our pipeline of new products. This role is critical to help our company capture the tremendous value created by our innovative technology team and to continue fueling our rapid growth. The candidate's primary role will be to "quarterback" the end-to-end GTM process and requires excellent project management skills and a strong "nose for value".
This is a role with high visibility across several important functions within the company. The Sr. Commercialization Manager will coordinate extensively across the Product, Marketing, PMO, Sales, Services, Legal and Finance teams to ensure all GTM requirements, cross-departmental dependencies, and business measures of success are defined and tracked through to successful execution.
Work with the Product, Product Marketing & Engineering teams to understand the value of new solutions (products, partnerships and services) in the pipeline and develop a customized and comprehensive go-to-market (GTM) plan
Assist with analyses to support product strategy, positioning and competitive landscape assessments
Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) for new product releases to quantify their impact on clients' performance and Turn financials
Define what questions need to be answered to bring new solutions to market
Automate / Streamline the GTM process using SalesForce.com and other tools to manage and track key steps in the plan
Create post-mortem reports summarizing the success of and key learnings from new product launches and communicate them to the team to improve future releases
Ensure the following departments are coordinated for the GTM planning and execution process:
Product Management; Development
Product Marketing; Marketing
Business Development; Partner Operations
Sales; Business Operations
Customer Success; Professional Services; Training
International"Set team deadlines and track milestone plan progress in conjunction with PMO
BS/BA required. MBA from a top school a plus
Strong project management skills with an ability to work and collaborate across several functional groups
Experience in a product management, strategic planning, go-to-market operations, or similar type of role is preferred but not required
Possess an "ownership" mentality
Manage balance between action and analysis
Process-oriented with attention to details
Creative thinker who understands sales and marketing components of new product launches
Strong communication skills and an ability to work with different personality types
Good sense of humor and team player
