Summary:
The Professional Services Senior Consultant will be responsible for implementing SafeNet data protection solutions in customer enterprise environments. This is a highly technical role with extensive customer facing responsibilities.
The candidate will work with cross functional teams at customer sites focusing on IT security, encryption, key management, authentication, PKI, and security consulting. Securing virtualized environments in the cloud.
Work as an individual or within a team on technology projects to meet specific customer requirements.
May include architecture design, software development, customization, configuration, implementation, support, maintenance, and/or administration of technology products. Work directly with the client and travel to the client site when needed. Serve as pre-sales support specialist when needed.
Qualification Requirements:
Education:
B.A./B.S. degree required (preferably Computer Science, Information Services or a related field).
Experience:
6 years prior related work experience in software security
2 years software development experience in .NET, JAVA
Experience with SafeNet products or competitor products, VMware, two-factor authentication
Experience in deploying and integrating systems.
Skills:
Proficient with HSM policies, application development and programming interfaces (API)
Working experience with Cryptographic APIs : PKCS#11, MS CAPI/CNG, JCA/JCE
Storage security (NAS, CIFS, iSCSI) deployment experience is a plus
Excellent interpersonal skills
Solid background in cryptography and experience in networking and network security protocols
Solid knowledge of information security principles and practices
Provide customer training on installed solutions
Experience in a direct customer facing (e.g. presales, consultancy) role
Relevant security or professional certifications are beneficial; CISM, CISA, CISSP, PMP
Strong ability to document requirements and to write technical response papers
Takes pride in high quality and on time delivery
Essential Duties & Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Data Protection Services
Works with customer to deploy SafeNet products, architecture, installation and configuration
Integration with customer applications using API?s (.NET, JAVA)
Customized Training to customers / partners; other duties as assigned
