Aras is a fast growing global start-up that provides open source software solutions for Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) to enterprise customers worldwide including Motorola, GE, Teva Pharmaceuticals, and XEROX. Aras solutions coordinate collaboration and automate the complicated business processes in product development and the supply chain resulting in faster, more profitable product launches. Aras is located north of Boston in Andover and is an easy commute from downtown (reverse commute) or surrounding areas.
Responsibilities
Provide IT systems integration and business process consulting services for the implementation of Aras software products at customer sites. Typical projects are 2-4 months in duration with +/- 30% on-site work. Meet with customers to document requirements and create implementation specifications and testing use cases. Tailor the Aras software to meet customer business requirements.
Requirements
Project Management skills with the ability to manage a PLM deployment project, ideally with 5 years of PLM project management experience
Must be able to write clear, understandable Requirements, SOW, Specification documents, and Use Cases.
Technically self sufficient with data modeling techniques, SQL Server and Microsoft Office products. Installation and configuration of SQL Server, SQL Scripting (Transact SQL), SQL triggers, stored procedures, functions
Must be able to write clear, understandable Requirements, SOW, Specification documents, and Use Cases.
Must be familiar with Web programming techniques (not a developers skill set) VB .NET, Javascript or C Sharp, HTML, XML, XSL
Familiar with data migration techniques from legacy systems
Must be able to travel 50%, primarily regional with frequent 3-4 day North America trips as required
BS in CIS or equivalent experience (5 years in a deployment role)
Some working knowledge of any of the following : Engineering Change processes, Phase Gate Project Management, Quality systems processes DFMEA, PFMEA, CAPA, APQP, Manufacturing Process Planning, CMII change management, LEAN
Experience in any of the following verticals: Automotive, Consumer products, High tech Electronics, Aerospace
Must be eligible to work in the United States.
