Sr. Controls/Systems Engineer Miasole
Description:Position Responsibilities:
? Leads the specification and development of PLC and PC based motion control programs based on sound control strategies and specifications
? Expert at integration of all types of hardware components such as robots, analog devices, motion controllers, sensors and vision systems.
? Familiar with error recovery techniques required by automation systems used in manufacturing environments
? Thrives as a team player with Mechanical, Process, Electrical and other Controls engineers to continuously improve methods of integrating controls technology.
? Develops and executes test plans to verify machine functionality and software program reliability required to commission equipment for production
? Provides timely accurate documentation and training for each project.
Required Experience:
? Advanced PLC programming (Allen-Bradley)
? Software programming experience with robotics systems, computer configuration and networks
? Leads SW design and development teams using CMM Level 3 or higher standards
? Knowledge of Manufacturing Executions Systems ? MES and advanced capability in equipment integration
? Expert level troubleshooting skills of all facets of automated systems; mechanical and electrical and controls systems
? Advanced knowledge of robotics, control systems and machine operation with applicable hands-on experience
? Must be a self-starter with the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment with minimal supervision.
? Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
? Demonstrates exceptional skills in leadership and communication
? Ability and willingness to work hands-on as required by a 24/7 manufacturing to keep to schedules and meet deadlines
? Ability to influence others with ideas using supportive data
? Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles
? Proficient in MS Word, and Excel
Required Education:
? Bachelor?s/Masters Degree in Engineering, with background in systems engineering
? 5+ years of directly related experience in a similar field
