We are hiring a Senior Editorial Copywriter to help us say it all and write it all. This Copywriter will be responsible for developing all internal and external communication for the Treat brand. The candidate will take key consumer insights and turn them into compelling marketing messages. Working together with the Creative Director, Art Director and Editorial Manager you will help to conceptualize and create marketing materials and seasonal campaigns. You?ll also help evolve and maintain our brand voice and copy style guide. This is an amazing opportunity for someone who wants to make their mark on an emerging brand and really help shape the brand?s identity. This is a full-time position in Sunnyvale, CA.If you?
Are an amazing copywriter?you paint pictures with words
Have a quick wit and creative mindset
Have copywriting experience for consumer brands?your words moves products off shelves
Can drive the conceptualization and creation of marketing materials. You don?t design, but can lead brainstorms and work with a creative team to execute your vision.
Have experience writing for direct response/direct marketing?you can tell a story in 5 words or less
Know the difference between stationery and stationary
Are able to conceptualize a problem and find the best and most appropriate solution to it
Have experience creating and/or quickly getting up-to-speed on a brand?s voice and style guidelines
we want to talk to you! Even better, if you have any of the following:
Understand and have written UX copy
Start-up and e-commerce experience
Wordpress experience
Can hit the ground running with little to no direction

Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
Writing copy for treat.com
Developing copy for marketing materials: print ads, emails, inserts, online banners, etc.
Putting together copy for site or email promotions
Campaign development
Branding
Evolving the brand?s voice and style guide
