The Sr. Corporate Analyst evaluates anticipated and realized success levels of various business decisions through analysis of internal and external data. The role helps determine key performance indicators for the business and creates dashboard reports for management to monitor performance and trends. The Analyst helps with decision making problems which are concerned with the coordination and execution of various operations within the organization. They establish and maintain relationships to ensure timely resolution of issues and concerns in regard to evolving areas of focus, as well as to increase content knowledge as it applies to this focus. Working closely with the Corporate Analytics management team, the Senior level Analyst will provide consultative support and guidance on more complex strategic and operating initiatives that will drive growth and performance, and must be able to articulate their findings with professional presence. As a Senior level Analyst, this role is also responsible for providing mentorship to junior level Analysts.
Develops and maintains reporting models to provide executive management insight into business performance and trends. Partners with internal departments to understand drivers of trends and impact of business changes. Prepares and presents to various stakeholders regular updates on changing economic, spending, and regulatory trends that could impact the Company's growth.
Evaluates level of effectiveness of business decisions and current processes through critical analysis of internal reporting. Proposes and implements enhancements based on these findings and continues to monitor success level in an effort to drive dynamic improvements in profitability to various products.
Utilizes internal reporting, database querying, external market resources, and applicable tools to develop processes to track and analyze current focus areas and growth of technical knowledge.
Partners with IT to implement system enhancements and process improvements relevant to current projects. Works to automate efforts in these areas wherever possible and checks for accuracy in system customizations for both internal and external customers.
Works closely with internal customers to implement changes as they pertain to current projects. This includes keeping communication with this group open in order to streamline these processes and improve efficiency, as well as verification of the results.
Provides aide and mentorship to junior level associates, including side-by-side training of new hires. Also acts in an unofficial leadership capacity by providing day-to-day guidance to the team in support of organizational objectives.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or related field is required.
Minimum of 4 years experience in a financial or business analyst capacity.
Time management skills, organizational skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to multi-task, and proficiency in MS Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). SQL and Tableau experience a plus.
