This position reports to the Cost Accounting Senior Manager. Individual will assume an analytical role to lead day to day Cost Accounting initiatives. These initiatives include an active role in developing, interpreting and implementing complex cost and inventory management advanced techniques and/or best practices for tracking, planning and control. Individual will liaise with Operations and Financial Management to ensure mutual objectives and public company compliance. Individual will identify business risks and opportunities and recommend and participate in executing action plans to improve operational efficiency.
Roles & Responsibilities
This position has responsibility for:
Lead, coordinate and execute cross functional weekly operational performance meetings
Perform and analyze cost rolls and socialize impact of updating costs to key groups
Manage period end closing reconciliations, variance analysis, reporting and forecasting
Interact with external auditors on compliance requirements and field requests
Lead and participate in cross functional, ongoing process improvement/change teams
Lead Cycle Count program and Inventory observations audit and testing
Author sections of SOX documentation and subsequent testing
Knowledge, Skill and Competency Requirements
Competency is based on: education, training, skills and experience. In order to perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following knowledge, skills and competencies:
Presentation of production performance of high volume, complex transactions
Evaluation of current reporting structure to transition to enhance analytical
100% accurate recording of general and cost updates entries in ERP system
Expert utilization of MS Office tools including advanced MS Excel, Word, Visio and Project.
Closing of financials with relevant and summarized management reporting within 5 business days
Create audit analytic schedules within 5 days after financial close

Education and Experience:
B.S. in Accounting, Economics, Finance or Business Required
5 Years of relevant Cost Accounting hands on experience. Semiconductor experience highly desirable.
Formal Process Improvement coursework and /or experience preferred.
Experience in Oracle or other Tier 1 ERP System preferred
Public Company Cost Accounting Experience Required
