The Senior Creative Services Manager will be responsible for leading and orchestrating Marketing team creative efforts. You will manage our in-house Graphic Designer as well as external agencies while providing feedback and guidance to our Japan headquarters.
Responsibilities include serving as a primary creative consultant and point-of-contact for new and existing creative projects in our SF office; guiding delivery of creative aspects of projects including creative budget, timing and delivery commitments; conceiving and guiding major product marketing creative campaign efforts; and being capable/prepared to provide hands-on design when needed to bridge potential periods of overflow.
The Sr. Creative Services Manager should have advanced interpersonal skills to engage with product marketing managers as well as product teams and lead/facilitate project creative collaborations. This includes guiding branding (icon, logo), game trailers / video advertising as well as online / event / outdoor marketing activities.
Qualifications
The Creative Services Manager will have a minimum of 5 years relevant experience, including a Creative Lead, Art Director, Studio Manager or other Creative management role managing direct reports, and a strong portfolio of relevant work.
Past gaming experience as well as a relevant network of external agencies relevant for the gaming industry is also beneficial.
Advanced skills in the Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator are required. Additional skill in web and multimedia tools such as Dreamweaver, After Effects and Premiere are beneficial to further train/mentor staff or provide hands-on support when needed.
You should be proactive about creative and technological advances in the field and be able to identify areas of use within the organization.
