Jive's Corporate Accounting group needs a Senior Credit Analyst to help with our growing business. As a Senior Credit Analyst this person will need to be a self- starter responsible for maintaining and improving the AR and collections system and process flow, as well as having the ability to interface well with internal and external customers. This person will play a critical role in ensuring accurate financial reporting and collections forecasting. Problem solving skills and excellent customer service skills are a must! Prior experience in a similar position is preferred. Position requires attention to detail and excellent follow up skills.Primary Responsibilities:
Apply cash and submit daily bank deposits
Perform collection activities, including collection calls by phone to clients regarding past due invoices, establishing payment arrangements, and coordinating receipt of purchase orders from clients to facilitate timely payment
Respond to client inquiries via phone and email regarding account or billing issues
Read and assess contracts for payment and invoicing terms
Assist with the complex billing process by generating invoices at peak times through-out the month
Determine tax-exempt status of new accounts and maintain certificate file
Interface with sales personnel regarding account details
Assist with collection forecasting on a monthly/quarterly basis and provide status of collection efforts
Run customer credit checks as needed
Sort and file correspondence
Other duties as assigned
Job Qualifications:
Outstanding communication skills
Ability to 'think on your feet' in a fast paced, dynamic work environment
Must be detail oriented and have ability to manage multiple priorities successfully
Proficient in Outlook and the Microsoft Office Suite
NetSuite or Salesforce experience preferred, or relevant experience with navigation through multiple systems
Preference will be given to candidates with 3-5+ years of credit and collections experience
