Sr. Database Administrator

Responsibilities:

• Providing 24x7 Production Support
• Providing database administration activities
• Performance tuning
• Backup and recovery
• System architecture design including high availability using Data Guard, RAC, and Streams
• Managing Data Warehouse environment with high ETL activities, partitions, and data loading
• Implementing monitoring, auditing and alert systems
• Providing proactive and reactive solution in database and development areas

Qualifications Requirements:

• The position requires five (5) years of experience in the job offered or in the related field of Software Engineer
• Programmer/Analyst, Software Designer, Developer, or related occupation
• Five (5) years of experience must be in administering Oracle databases with oracle internals in high web transactions environment and database high availability and performance tuning
• One (1) year experience in data warehouse and MySql database
• Two (2) years experience in JAVA, J2EE, PL/SQL, Shell Script
