Project / Job Description:
ADMS is developing solutions around wearable sensor technology. The sensors communicate with the mobile devices. The device sends the data to web server. The web application triggers algorithms specific to the data received and offers the output to mobile app via web services. The Java J2EE engineer will work closely with the solution architect and client / partners teams to understand requirements of new solutions and may require to do software prototyping / proof of concept development for demo requirements.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Participate in requirement understanding/detailing discussions
Provide estimation of development
Database design / modifications
Design and Develop / maintenance of web application
Participate in code reviews, design reviews
Deployment of application
Contribute to troubleshooting
Minimum Qualifications: (yrs exp, industry, platforms, languages, tools, etc):
Experience: 5-7 years overall experience of Java / J2EE based development
Extensive programming experience in Java Webservices, web applications
Sound Knowledge of data structures
Knowledge of automated unit testing, coding guidelines and compliance
Strong logical, analytical skills
Good Communication skills
Strong knowledge of any development process
Good written and verbal communication
Good team player
Desired Skills (Ideal + Plus Skills, Education, Product specific exp, etc)
MySQL database and Hibernate
Familiarity with SCM and build management (using tools like subversion ? branching, tagging, and maven, continuous integration, etc.)
