Job Description
Project / Job Description:
ADMS is developing solutions around wearable sensor technology. The sensors communicate with the Android devices. Android engineer will work closely with the solution architect and client / partners teams to understand requirements of new solutions and may require to do software prototyping / proof of concept development for demo requirements.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Design and Develop applications for Mobile Devices
Work closely with Visual designer for mobile application user interface requirements
Participate in requirement understanding/detailing discussions
Minimum Qualifications: (yrs exp, industry, platforms, languages, tools, etc):
Experience: 5-7 years overall with 2+ years Android development
In-depth knowledge of Android application development
Extensive programming experience in Java
Sound Knowledge of data structures
Working experience in at least one of the cross platform frameworks such as Phonegap
Working experience in HTML5, Java Script, CSS
Strong logical, analytical skills - Good Communication skills
Strong knowledge of any development process
Good written and verbal communication
Good team player
Desired Skills (Ideal + Plus Skills, Education, Product specific exp, etc)
Sound knowledge of the following domains on mobile/embedded devices: Applications, UI/App frameworks, Middleware/Services (e.g. multimedia, internet technologies), Protocols, consuming web services, Platform porting
Working experience on any other mobile platforms such as Blackberry, iOS
