Individual is active in developing features and key extensions to enterprise product suite. Requires strong design background, ability to work in a fast moving agile environment, good communications skills, outstanding rendering of designs to functional Java code, attention to quality & testability, and performance. Wide variety of work including XML protocol development, authentication subsystems creation, security vulnerability mitigation, performance optimization, user interface/web-facing implementation.
Locations: Colorado,British Columbia (Vancouver)
Participation in clarifying feature and subsystem requirements.
Design work necessary to define tasks and implementation.
Construction including source coding, code review, unit testing, and integration.
Integration of open source packages as needed to achieve functionality.
Active in supporting SQE team members in performing testing.
Expressing technical insights so other can handle field-related issues
6+ years experience in commercial, enterprise-level product environment.
Demonstrated experience in enterprise-level development.
MUST: Experience with open source and open source tools.
MUST: Expert knowledge of Java and practices in development.
MUST: Understanding of enterprise-scale systems and configurations related to security.
Also desired: Experience in an agile, iterative, or XP environments.
Important: Work requires complex setups and configurations. An individual with IT admin experience on different platforms a plus.

Ability to work in a lightweight process environment including requirements and test planning documentation.
