Silver Peak Systems is seeking a Sr. Director, Demand Generation responsible for driving incremental sales opportunities through development of targeted demand generation programs. This position reports directly to the SVP, Worldwide Marketing and will lead the company?s outbound marketing campaign delivery from creation to execution to tracking and measuring success. Metrics are pipeline growth and revenue. The position is also responsible for managing all internal automation and operations functions. This key member of the marketing management team will work closely with sales and marketing management to develop, deploy and manage a comprehensive worldwide strategy for integrated marketing programs and multi-touch campaigns.
Roles and Responsibilities
Direct, plan, and oversee all demand generation strategies and tactics
Develop plan and annual operating budget; analyze and control expenditures
Manage campaign operations; the systems, processes and vendors that comprise the company?s outbound marketing engine
Develop and manage effective digital media marketing and campaigns designed to drive company awareness and lead generation
Lead and manage a team of marketing programs and operations professionals as well as multiple 3rd party vendors
Establish and communicate real-time measurement and management of the lead pipeline to help maintain high conversion rates
Take a leadership role in working with IT to develop and implement a sales and marketing technology roadmap
7+ years of progressively responsible marketing experience with a focus on development and execution of digital demand generation for both direct and channel sales organizations.
Exceptional team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills
Strong analytical and quantitative skills ? passion for analysis that leads to actionable changes.
Demonstrated experience in business process improvement and implementation
Ability to work in a fast paced environment and across organizations to achieve goals through influence
Appreciation for metrics, data and process with the ability to tie all three to business objectives
