POSITION: Senior Director, Global Sales Operations

SUMMARY: This role is a key advisor to Sales Operations and Field Sales leadership for corporate sales operations policies and processes, systems and analytics. This includes directly managing a corporate sales operations organization as well as providing direction to global field sales operations as it relates to sales-related systems, processes, policies and reporting. The incumbent is also accountable for providing sales-related reporting and analysis to all levels of leadership, from individual contributor sales reps to the CEO.
The candidate has primary responsibility for driving Salesforce.com CRM system requirements, configuration and reporting, and supporting processes and policies. This includes ensuring the system supports corporate sales organizational requirements, compensation plans, territory management, sales rules of engagement, sales methodologies and practices, and establishing and managing processes to ensure data integrity is maintained. This requires excellent negotiation and communication skills as an advisor and advocate to the sales teams, while also being able to challenge the status quo in terms of governance and cadence that will drive better management information and improve forecasting accuracy. The incumbent will also act as a point of escalation of the sales organization for account or opportunity ownership conflict and drives resolution and/or perform investigative work to present a recommendation regarding to how to resolve conflict between sales teams. Additionally, this individual will work with corporate and sales management to analyze performance and trends for products, geographies and industry verticals, and recommend areas for improvement.
This position requires a strong communicator who can lead through coaching, a facilitator for resolving issues or challenges both within the team and between the team and other departments, coordinator of work flow and problem solver. The ideal candidate will be very detail oriented and able to adjust quickly in a rapidly growing and dynamic group. The candidate must be comfortable and effective in communicating and presenting to senior management. Superior planning and analytical skills are a must, as are a solid understanding of sales operations processes and advanced CRM sales force automation system techniques, processes and practices.
