The Senior Marketing Director leads brand and product marketing for two of our Masters level programs and University partners. The person will report to the EVP, Brand and will help recruit students for these prestigious Masters level programs delivered online. In particular, we?re looking for a marketing pro with experience developing and executing marketing strategies internationally ? with emphasis launching new products or services overseas being very applicable.
Key duties include but are not limited to:
Ensure programs hit budgeted student enrollment numbers at targeted acquisition costs; improve program position to maximize enrollments and minimize acquisition costs.
Working with university partner, drive thinking, planning and evaluation of program (product) extensions: new courses, new concentrations, new degree programs, etc
Act as key marketing contact for the brand/program, and build strong, collaborative relationships with the marketing contacts of our university partner. Ensure school approval of all marketing materials and buy-in for all marketing and admissions activities.
Oversee and manage the design and development of strategies and tactics through the complete student recruitment lifecycle.
Work collaboratively with the lead generation/media buying/business development team to determine the best strategies for reaching various audiences, and implement and continuously optimize solutions to ensure marketing messages are effectively conveyed and driving recruiting goals.
Work collaboratively with internal, matrixed web technology, SEO, social media, PR and creative teams to ensure the overall program marketing strategy is being effectively carried out across all marketing groups.
Collaborate with the admissions team to develop marketing programs that focus on driving conversion, as well as a number of other internal teams to provide marketing support as it relates to the brand.
Responsible for evaluating all aspects of marketing and sales performance and for ensuring program GM is fully informed on this evaluation.
Manage and develop one marketing manager.
Things That Should Be in Your Background:
Bachelor's degree required.
Experience developing and executing international marketing strategies is required as one of the graduate programs you will support recruits non-US students exclusively.
8+ years of marketing experience
Must have strong demonstrated product marketing experience.
Be comfortable launching new brands, products or services
Experience managing client/partner relationships required.
Off the charts interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work on cross functional teams in both leadership and member roles
Ability to make data driven decisions and be comfortable with metrics and ROI driven models.
Must have breadth of experience across marketing tactics to include online and offline tactics such as email, display advertising, search, webinars, collateral, etc.
Strong written and verbal communications skills.
Familiarity working with SalesForce is a plus
Ability to think out of the box and find creative, unorthodox solutions when needed.
Must be able to prioritize and handle multiple assignments simultaneously.
