JOB LOCATION: Tampa, FL
The Sr. Director, Operations is responsible for the efficient and effective delivery of service that meets or exceeds customers? expectations, and for effectively planning and managing the budget process for the operations area. The Sr. Director, Operations will be a champion of metrics management and will ensure optimization of the company?s workflows, processes and systems. This individual will be responsible for driving a healthy culture to facilitate attracting and retaining top talent in the team, allowing the company to achieve scale and quality delivery of services. He/she will implement market-responsive programs and services and encourage a culture of innovation and commitment to delivery of high-quality outcomes and customer service excellence.
Education, License & Certification:
REQUIRED: Bachelor?s Degree
Bachelor?s in health related field or sciences,
Certification in Lean, Six Sigma or PMP.
A minimum of ten years of healthcare management, with direct, progressive operating and P&L responsibility for a multi-site organization delivering health management services. A demonstrable command of operations skills including process re-engineering, metrics, and quality measurement through Key Performance Indicators (KPI?s).
Direct experience with Medical Management including Utilization Management (UM), Disease Management (DM), and Case Management (CM).
Direct experience managing field-based clinical and/or non-clinical staff.
Direct experience with in-bound and out-bound clinical and non-clinical call centers and management of local and remote employees.
Knowledge of and experience with specific populations including the chronically ill, Medicaid and Medicare, including a clear understanding of the reimbursement issues with Medicare, Medicaid and non-government-funded/private payers.
Demonstrated leadership experience in quality improvement using metrics, employee education, goal setting and team-oriented improvement programs.
Successful track record of managing P&L Significant experience in strategic planning, business planning and goal setting across a diverse delivery team with individualized goals and team objectives.
Experience working with clinical documentation programs designed for utilization management programs.
Experience in and working knowledge of the healthcare regulatory environment.

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Provide overall direction and guidance for the company?s operational activities; review performance against operating plans and adjust such plans as necessary to maximize growth and profitability.
Assure operating infrastructure meets strategic needs for scale, efficiency and roll out of new products that provide a seamless experience for clients, patients and providers.
Develop, implement, and maintain annual operating and capital budgets, ensuring that operations are managed within established guidelines and that the allocation of resources appropriately supports the managed care customers and the provision of patient care.
Develop and implement care management delivery metrics that demonstrate clinical and utilization cost trends to clients and enhance program value and efficiency internally.
Collaborate with other members of the management team and customers in the development, implementation, and evaluation of programs designed to improve, measure, and evaluate the quality of services, outcomes and the level of customer/patient satisfaction.
Ensure that initiatives and operations are in compliance with professional standards, applicable laws, accreditation standards, and regulatory requirements and support the company?s core values, mission and strategic initiatives
Set operational and/or performance goals for each service line, customer, or department, which are aggressive, achievable and tied to long-term goals. Continually strive to improve service delivery and financial outcomes.
