Market Force Information is seeking a Senior Director, Research and Analytics required to run a high performance, highly visible and strategic analytics and modeling team. The Senior Director will be responsible for the successful development of business analytics and services, formulating mathematical approaches to solve key business problems; using customer intelligence data collected from a variety of research methods, including but not limited to mystery shop, customer satisfaction surveys, social media summaries, contact center data, traffic counting/conversion rates, pricing data, and other forms of data collected or maintained by our client.
This position will provide thought leadership on data analysis, modeling, data cleansing, data and infrastructure requirements to scale and streamline our analytics practice and run an innovative customer intelligence and predictive analytics management organization. He or she will also be expected to develop robust, innovative methods to provide insight to clients and communicate them effectively. The leader will manage the P&L for this business unit, working with the extended Market Force team to create pricing; manage labor; track revenue; and provide training and support to client-facing teams as needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1)Hands-on Analytics and Analytics Oversight
a.Scope and Prioritize analytics projects ascertaining that team completes 100% of top priority analytics request and 95% of all other requests by their due dates
b.Work with internal and external clients to define business questions and goals
Assist in development of results and ensure that complex statistical findings can be translated into executive level findings by working with statistical and presentation teams to create business insights.
2)Analytics and People Development
a.Mentor analytical resources; Keep resources focused on highest value tasks
b.Recruit and retain top analytical talent; Motivate team to perform at highest levels
c.Manage career and skill development of direct reports
d.Develop variable resources to scale the team and balance work loads
3)Business / Customer Intelligence Development
a.Work with IT and Products to support the planning and evolution of an analytical data warehouse infrastructure
b.Assess value of automating repetitive analytical tasks and work with IT and other relevant departments to do so
4)Analytical thought leadership, knowledge transfer to other groups and relationship with Sales
a.Provide analytical support and training to other teams as needed/requested
b.Assist (as required) in the sales process
c.Partner with Marketing to develop business plan for the launch of analytical products
d.Keep abreast of latest developments; provide thought leadership on analytics and customer intelligence
5)Administrative and budgetary responsibilities
a.Oversee analytics budget and carry out general administrative duties.

Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Education/Experience:
Masters degree with emphasis in statistics, mathematics, economics, operations research or other quantitative discipline required. Ph.D. in quantitative discipline preferred
Minimum 5 years experience in statistical analysis preferably in a customer insight, market research, CRM, direct marketing or equivalent environment. Expertise in SPSS required. Familiarity/expertise with AMOS and Clementine modules preferred.
3+ years experience in data modeling preferably with experience using data mining, structural equation models and other predictive modeling approaches.
Familiarity/experience with text analytics a plus.
Ability to push the boundaries of knowledge by creating innovative products, processes and methodologies.
Solid computing/ Business Intelligence / IT programming skills a definite plus; Ability to automate processes, understand and work with database management systems a plus.
