Job Description

- Designs, builds, and debugs electrical hardware for automated or manual test equipment.
- Leads in the resolution of test system vs. product performance anomalies.
- Develops documentation associated with design activities.
- Leads in test equipment hardware system architecture design tradeoffs.
- Develops electrical test equipment requirements and specifications.
- Works with external test equipment suppliers, as needed.
- Complies with all design-related standards developed by external regulatory groups.
- Complies with department and corporate quality initiatives.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Required Skills

- Working knowledge of electrical circuit simulation tools.
- Working knowledge of electronic & electromechanical devices
- Electrical design experience with both digital and analog circuits. RF circuits would be a plus.
- Must be able to read electrical schematics
- Good teamwork and interpersonal skills
- Excellent English language writing, reading, and verbal skills
- Self-motivated with strong leadership skills

Required Experience

- A Bachelor of Science in Engineering and 5-7 years of developing hardware test systems for automated and manual test stations, or
- A Master of Science in Engineering and 3-5 years of developing hardware test systems for automated and manual test stations.
