Sr. Engineer - (Job Code 85 AA) Accumetrics

Job Summary
In this role you will support existing product electronics and test fixtures, as well as the design, test and integration of electronics for new systems. You will support existing products by ensuring that designs and processes are compatible for manufacturing and support the manufacturing, quality and purchasing groups by addressing incoming component, technical vendor liaison, troubleshooting production issues and diagnosing field returns of instruments. You will participate on the design team developing new products and provide design inputs on system architecture and electronics design. You will devise and support new instrument and component test systems. In this role you will serve as a project leader to introduce new or modified designs related to system electronics.

Job Requirements

BSc degree in Electronics, Optoelectrical, or Solid State Engineering
10+ years of product development/support experience in an electronics or optoelectronics design and development environment
Experience in printed circuit board design, assembly, and test procedures in compliance with RoHS initiatives, as well as managing SMT assembly and test suppliers
Strong hands-on technical background in digital and analog design with embedded microprocessors and FPGA?s
Knowledge of Quality System regulations or experience working in a regulated environment
Experience with MS Office and design programs such as OrCAD
Experience in a medical device, in vitro diagnostic, GLP, cGMP or ISO environment a plus
