Sr. Engineering Program Manager Clinicient
THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED Clinicient, Inc is looking for a seasoned Engineering Program Manager who enjoys exercising a broad set of skills and wants to be a part of a close-knit team delivering a SAAS solution nationwide to the healthcare industry.
This individual will be the main person responsible for taking initiatives and engineering tasks from concept to final implementation. They will develop a deep understanding of our services and products and use their toolbox of skills to ensure that cross functional teams successfully deliver on-time with a predictable, repeatable and quality process.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Exceptional engineering leader with proven ability to mentor and grow an engineering organization.
Possess technical expertise in all areas to understand how each piece fits into the overall system, what the inputs and outputs are, how each members work affects the rest of the team, how to estimate complexity, understand timelines and effectively judge trade-offs.
Extensive experience with agile processes and comfortable managing fast-paced development and continuous releases demonstrating progress towards strategic goals and ongoing maintenance efforts. Must be able to develop metrics to manage and show changes, tradeoffs, velocity, project cost and other key metrics.
Prefer to keep things simple. Drive product management and engineering for planning and preparing development iterations, including collection of level of effort, reconfirming use-cases are meaningful and then managing the deliverables including client facing artifacts necessary for release.
Matrix management of cross-functional teams using agile industry best practices, including capacity planning, day to day project execution, and release management.
Comfortable managing multiple projects, including driving team to complete assigned work, escalating issues for resolution, and managing the software release process and communications.
Identify, categorize and facilitate risk mitigation to improve all aspects of the SDLC, including requirements, design, development, QA, and release.
Provide oversight of key performance indicators: predictability, velocity, and quality.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
10+ years of experience in SaaS application and service delivery project management using agile methodologies.
Experience with matrix management of technology teams, preferably client-server and web application development and Business Intelligence with infrastructure aspects.
Healthcare related experience is desirable.
Degree in IT/computer science or related field is desirable.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Above all, extremely capable of communicating both written and verbal to different levels and audiences.
10+ years? experience or training in agile methodologies.
Understanding of software development lifecycles, from requirements to release to maintenance.
Strong interpersonal communication skills in a dynamic group environment.
The ability to prioritize multiple projects, identify risks, internally sell solutions, and enlist support from a technical audience will be the cornerstone of getting work done at Clinicient.

SCOPE AND ACCOUNTABILITY
The Senior Engineering Program Manager will interface primarily with internal staff as well as group of external groups. The individual in this position will be a key contributor to remote development. They will work closely with executives, management, product management and other technical staff to complete their work. Coordination between development, architecture, infrastructure, product management and quality assurance is critical to development iterations. They will often need to work without immediate supervision but responsible for following, communicating, and improving established processes and standards. Priority and timelines will be immediately supervised.
This position is performed primarily in an office environment. Significant portions of the job require extended sedentary periods, constant work with computers (including extended period of keyboarding), and repetitive motion of hands and wrists.
