Sr. ETL (SSIS) Developer Razorsight
Job Description:Razorsight has an immediate need for a Senior ETL Developer with deep experience on the Microsoft BI stack. Candidates must have hands on expertise designing high volume repeatable ETL processes for large enterprise software and SaaS solutions developing very complex data transformations.
Candidate will be responsible for the design, development and support of ETL (Extraction, Transformation and Loading) components, which will be used to move large amounts of data from source data and software application data stores into the optimized operational databases.
Additional responsibilities include tuning the ETL processes, creation of the technical and system specification documents necessary to support ETL processes. And participate in development and execution of unit and system test plans.
Requirements:
At least 5 years full life cycle software development experience
At least 5 years of experience in SQL Server T-SQL database development (data modeling, stored procedures, functions and query optimization).
At least 3 years of experience in SSIS and ETL development.
Excellent troubleshooting skills
Ability to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions
Bachelor degree in a technical/data driven degree
Desire and ability to clearly communicate with colleagues at all levels
Ability to create complex, high performance stored procedures in SQL Server 2005/2008
Ability to create complex, high-performance views in SQL Server 2005/2008
Other Requirements:
Expert level proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server 2005 or 2008, including T-SQL.
Significant development experience in SSIS is preferred.
Experience in database-related performance tuning.
Working knowledge in data modeling.
Experience in Oracle 10g or 11i data extraction.
Business Analyst experience preferred but not required.
Able to successfully complete tasks with limited supervision.
