Sr. Field Application Engineer Inphi

Responsibilities: Proactively & efficiently support customers with designing Inphi products into their systems
Establish a local center of technical excellence for Inphi through in-depth understanding of the products and their applications
Collaborate with the local Sales team to gather and communicate the latest customer needs and competitive information to the factory
Assist the factory in gathering market and product requirements information towards definition of new products
Responsibilities also include bench/lab measurements and assisting customers with simulation models and design guidelines
Travel to support customers & tradeshows.
Requirements:
BSEE/MSEE with 7+ years of related industry experience (such as transceiver modules design, circuit board/system design, 10Gbps+ IC design, or similar)
Strong understanding of fundamentals of transmission lines, EM and microwave theory;
Solid experience with designing high-speed circuit boards
Hands on design/application experience with SerDes devices of 10Gbps and higher data rates
Hands-on experience with sampling scopes, BERTs, and other high speed lab equipment
Experience in using circuit simulation tools such as Hspice and Spectre
Existing relationships with top networking OEMs
Customer oriented, with strong communication and interpersonal skills
Team player and self starter with a winning attitude
Strong system level debugging / troubleshooting skills
Working knowledge of Linux, Windows, PowerPoint, Excel, Word
Perform well under pressure
