Job Description:
This position is responsible for providing technical and strategic support to Peregrine?s customers for RFIC products targeted towards the commercial wireless industry.
Roles & Responsibilities
Providing technical customer support in a designated geographical region. This includes but it is not limited to:
Interfacing with customers to support all design activity using Peregrine products
Reviewing and recommending improvements to existing customer designs
Collaborating with the Americas Sales team on technical issues and new product applications
Performing advanced measurements in an RF laboratory at a component level
Writing application notes and/or developing reference designs
Providing feedback to Marketing and Design Engineering on product improvements
Attending conferences and/or supporting Marketing Communications
Knowledge, Skill and Competency Requirements
BSEE, MSEE is preferred
5 years + experience with all RF building blocks including LNA?s, mixers, synthesizers, filters, amplifiers, and power amplifiers.
Extensive knowledge of RF measurement techniques including S-parameters, noise figure, IP3, power compression, ACPR and standard specific requirements
Thorough understanding of commercial wireless standards including GSM, CDMA, 3G, 4G cellular and 802.11a/b/g/n/ac
Must be willing to travel 30%

Ability to analyze and troubleshoot customer issues on the spot
RF CMOS experience
Mobile Wireless experience
Technical writing skills for application notes and/or customer documentation
Strong familiarity with standard lab test equipment
Must be a self-starter, be able to work with minimal supervision and have excellent communication, organizational, and problem solving skills.
