Sr. Financial Analyst- Contractor LiveOps

Provide support to the finance department in various areas including forecasting and budgeting, cost analysis and process improvement. The Sr. Financial Analyst will work directly with the Financial Planning & Analysis team of a fast growing Cloud contact center company. Candidate must demonstrate attention to detail and possess a superior work ethic. Must be a self starter and have the ability to work independently and resolve issues with little direction.
Responsibilities
Prepare weekly forecast financial report updates
Preparation of monthly results versus budget reports
Monthly reconciliation of revenue between SAP and Hyperion
Responsible for revenue forecast process which includes weekly updates, Hyperion Planning modifications, and understanding of company?s product structure
Assist with Operating Expense updates in Hyperion Planning
Provide gross margin and COGs analysis
Credit analysis & recommendations for new clients
Prepare ad hoc analysis as needed
Qualifications
Position requires a degree from a 4 year college/university with an emphasis in finance, accounting, or economics
Minimum of five years of previous work experience as a financial analyst is required
Knowledge of Essbase and Hyperion Planning required
Excellent skills in Excel and other Microsoft
Office programs required; knowledge of SAP a plus
Must have a working knowledge of accounting and the ability to read and interpret financial statements
