The Sr. Financial Analyst reports to the Director of FP&A and will have responsibility for providing analytical support to the revenue producing parts of A10, including Sales, Marketing, and Services. The position will own many critical aspects of supporting the business including creating more accurate revenue and expense forecasts, ad hoc analyses, automating and enhancing data gathering and reporting, and improving expense models.The Sr. Financial Analyst position requires a well-rounded individual who has a demonstrated ability to deliver results in a fast paced, high-growth environment.
Responsibilities:
-Working closely with managers to create and maintain accurate bookings forecasts; ensuring the delivery of predictable financial results, early warning of potential gaps
-Partnering with management to enhance revenue models and department level annual/ quarterly expense budgets/forecasts, and drive improvements on an ongoing basis.
- Analyzing and reporting on monthly budget vs. actual variances for Sales, Marketing and Services departments
-Identifying and reporting on key business drivers to optimize operating results
-Performing ad hoc financial analysis to support business decisions
Experience & Requirements:
Four to six years of experience in financial planning and analysis
B.A. or B.S. in Business, Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
Excellent FP&A and analytical skills, including strong financial modeling,
Advanced Excel skills are required; experience with Oracle, Salesforce, Adaptive Planning, Marketo and Xactly a plus.
Strong project management and organization skills, and ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, flexible and proactive
Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work with a diverse team and influence/drive change across functional and business boundaries
Continuous improvement attitude; ability to seek out and implement internal or external best practices
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
