Sr. Financial Analyst Palo Alto Networks

Palo Alto Networks is building a world class finance organization and is looking for a top notch Senior Financial Analyst to add to the team. The position requires a well-rounded individual who has demonstrated the ability to deliver results in a high growth, ever-evolving environment. This person will be responsible for providing financial and analytical support to various organizations throughout the company will report to the Manager of Corporate FP&A.
Job Responsibilities

• Provide monthly spending trends and performance against budget
• Develop balance sheet forecast process and integration with planning system
• Provide financial information to external investors, customers and/or key stakeholders
• Complete monthly/quarterly budget vs. actual analysis and accounting accrual process
• Partner with Legal, HR, IT and Finance to develop annual plan, outlook and forecast(s)
• Ad hoc and regular analyses of the business to drive high corporate performance
• Assist in preparation of Board of Director and Executive Staff presentations
• Build Dashboards and Metrics to identify key trends, risks and opportunities
• Own operating expense accuracy through enhancement of accrual processes, forecasting procedures and partnership with departments
• Partner with Accounting to assure proper accounting procedures are being followed while working to improve those processes and procedures

Minimum Job Qualifications:

• BA/BS in finance or related discipline and 5-7 years related experience
• MBA or CPA a plus but not required
• Record of strong advancement and achievement
• Advanced excel skills with the ability to analyze large amounts of data required
• Prior SAP (Business objects and BPC) experience required, implementation a plus
• Experience with NetSuite and Adaptive Planning preferred but not required
• Strong business and analytical skills
• Experience with complex financial models and analysis
• Strong relationship building, communication, and presentation skills
• Ability and desire to work in a fast paced and continually evolving environment
• Experience working in a high growth technology organization preferred
