About the Job:Twilio is seeking an experienced financial analyst to manage costs surrounding our telco and infrastructure services. Position reports to Senior Accounting Manager and is based in Twilio's San Francisco office.
Responsibilities:
Track and forecase telco and infrastructure service costs, and provide detailed variance analysis as part of our monthly financial process
Audit inbound invoices against signed contracts, order forms, and internal monitoring tools to verify that all charges are valid
Develop, maintain, and produce required management and ad hoc reports regarding savings, utlization, budgeting and value realization
Work with the Development team to automate reports and systems where possible
Interact with negotiators, project managers, legal, and finance to ensure adherence to contracted commercial terms
Provide input and analysis working with the Product team around potential new telco services
Manage vendor and internal relationships to ensure timely payments, resolve any billing questions, issues, or disputes
Manage Twilio's telecom tax obligations, ensuring that the company is filing on time and paying tax obligations as they come due
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, or related field
4+ years of relevant finance experience
Advance modeling skills including advance Excel skills
Experience forecasting and analyzing Amazon Web Services infrastructure cost
Prior experience in the telecommunications industry mandatory
Proficient in using Macs and Google Tools (gmail, Google Docs, calendar) in day to day work environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and self-motivate in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
Proven ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize workload
