Palo Alto Networks is building a world class finance organization and is looking for a top notch Senior Financial Analyst to add to the team. The position requires a well-rounded individual who has demonstrated the ability to deliver results in a high growth environment. This person will be responsible for providing financial and analytical support to various functions including Sales, Customer Support, Business Development, and G&A as a key member of our FP&A team.
Job Responsibilities
- Build, manage and maintain forecast models including technical support cases and supporting headcount requirements, bookings forecasts, quarterly spend projections, productivity models amongst others
- Ad hoc and regular analyses of the business to drive high corporate performance and to assist with executive decision making
- Complete monthly/quarterly budget vs. actual analysis and accounting accrual process to provide better visibility into and control over spend
- Partner with Accounting to ensure proper controls are in place and working to improve processes and procedures as needed
- Manage departmental budgets, assist in lease renewals or office expansion, and assist in set-up of new entities
- Build Dashboards and Metrics to identify key trends, risks and opportunities
Minimum Job Qualifications:
- BA/BS in finance or related discipline and 4+ years related experience
- Record of strong advancement and achievement
- Advanced excel skills with the ability to analyze large amounts of data and maintain complex financial models
- Experience and expertise in utilization of CRM, Planning and ERP systems such as Salesforce.com, Adaptive Planning, and SAP
- Strong business and analytical skills
- Strong relationship building, communication, and presentation skills
- Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced and continually evolving environment
- 2+ Years of experience supporting a high-technology Sales, and/or Customer Support organization required
- Applicants with financial certifications, an MBA, and/or other advanced degrees preferred
