Sr. Financial / Pricing Analyst SmartSynch

This is an analytical position to support pricing and cost accounting. The person needs to use accounting and planning data to support decision making. It is a new position in the company to facilitate rapid growth. The primary goal of this activity is to improve efficient utilization of resources by analyzing data, recommending corrective actions and influencing planning and forecasting. BBA or BA (accounting), proficiency in working with computers and analytical models is required.
Duties

Manage quarterly pricing templates and reports, product margins and revenue
Originate price quotes for sales team and strategic partners
Coordinate with Accounting & Order Fulfillment to ensure consistency between price quotes and sales order detail for all products/solutions
Verify purchase order accuracy (product, price, lead time, quote, etc.)
Assist in the establishment, maintenance and distribution of product pricing guidelines to sales team
Analyze monthly airtime billing and invoices from cellular providers for accuracy
Analyze monthly/quarterly Client Services profitability by customer by product
Work with departments to ensure accuracy and appropriate allocations of cost information
Serve as primary contact for updating associated allocations relating to cost accounting data

Qualifications

BBA degree
Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills that include the ability to respond to changing needs and shifting priorities
Highly effective customer service skills
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, positive-attitude personality
Strong phone presence and positive, friendly approach
Ability to multi-task and complete a large volume of work quickly
Ability to perform within a high-paced and creative environment
Excellent oral, written, and presentation communications skills combined with the ability to effectively communicate complex issues with individuals, team members and executives
Strong interpersonal skills
Strong planning and organizational skills
Previous cost accounting experience preferred
Proficient in MS Office Tools (e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Visio), Outlook Express and some type of contact management program such as Goldmine, ACT, Telemagic, etc.
