Overview:Busy in-house creative team is looking for a highly organized, savvy, energetic Senior Designer to work on print and retail/display projects. The ideal candidate is proactive, fast learning and knowledgeable in the Adobe Creative Suite. We?re looking for someone whose design esthetic is near the top of the craft: elegant, modern and polished, with sophisticated typography skills and a great sense of proportion and balance. Experience with corporate-level projects is important.
Exceptional multi-tasking skills and a pleasant, team-oriented personality are key. Must be able to follow instructions and art direction well, have a strong eye for detail, and excellent proofing skills. Ability to do quality work independently, manage your own priorities, handle multiple projects, take feedback effectively and iterate designs quickly.
The successful candidate will have the ability to both develop new concepts from a creative brief (a ?blank page? designer), and patience with making enhancements to previous projects.
Retail industry experience preferred.
Must have portfolio.
Responsibilities:
Graphic Design degree
Minimum 7 years of relevant work experience (not including freelance during college)
Proficiency in Adobe Creative suite (Illustrator, PhotoShop, InDesign are most important)
Speed and accuracy, attention to detail and ability to proof your work
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
Mac OSX design environment
Pleasant, patient personality
Robust portfolio of print design work: successful pieces that utilize existing brand elements, plus original works such as logo design
Qualifications:
