Summary of Responsibilities:
The HRIS Analyst will initially be responsible for the successful implementation of a new HRIS (Workday) implementation, system administration & and providing subsequent day-to-day support.. The position will also act as a change agent regarding new or improved process through appropriate communication, education/training and change management activities. This position requires a critical thinker who can execute tactically while keeping long term goals and the big picture in mind.
The successful candidate will be able to work with minimal supervision to support HR applications, reporting, associated data and the user community. The HRIS Analyst will also be responsible for documenting system processes and procedures and assist in the training of end-users across the organization.
Analyzes HR processes and makes recommendations for improvements via the use of technology; oversees the specifications, development and implementation of new or redesigned systems, reports, and procedures for the Workday HRIS.
Participate in the design and implementation of new HRIS modules and other system enhancements
Write test plans, user guides and training materials for new applications or functionality as needed
Maintains data integrity in HR systems by conducting routine audits and analyzing data.
Documents and maintains accurate and thorough HRIS end-user processes and procedures.
Develops training materials and assists in the training of department and field staff on HRIS access and utilization.
HRIS System Administration
Acts as HRIS Security Administrator including managing user system access, business processes. Administer, monitor and audit HRIS configuration, security and data integrity.
Perform functional configuration tasks for the HRIS modules to satisfy requests for fixes, changes, enhancements and compliance; perform testing and troubleshoot related issues.
Collaborates Vendor/Workday or IT to coordinate the application of HRIS system updates, patches or fixes, and support integration with 3rd party systems
Provides day-to-day support and resolution of HR data issues in various HR systems including Talent & integration Payroll.
Maintain awareness of current trends in HRIS with a focus on product and service development, delivery and support, and applying key technologies.
Work closely with HR staff and other users to solve system and/or user problems.
HRIS Support &Reporting
Identify new HR needs and the functionality to meet requirements; make alterations to existing functionality as required
Writes, maintains and supports a variety of reports or queries utilizing appropriate system report writing tools. Acts as main point-of-contact for all ad-hoc and scheduled report requests.
Assists in the development and maintenance of HR dashboards in the HRIS system to help influence and drive strategy, automating the delivery where possible.
Summarizes and translates report data into organized and useable/actionable content to drive strategic decision making
Research and recommend solutions to system issues
Train and provide support to HR professionals and other users of the system and data
Qualifications, Experience & Skills:
Bachelor?s Degree in Computer Science, HR or related field with 8+ years of HRIS experience.
Solid foundation of HRMS design, structure, functions and processes, and experience with application tools.
Strong understanding of HR processes and data. Exposure/understanding of compliance including SOX as it relates to the HRIS function.
Experience supporting a HRIS platform is essential (Oracle, Peoplesoft, Workday, SAP), performance & talent management systems highly desirable;
Previous involvement in the implementation of an HRIS System along with strong project management skills
Professional written and verbal communication skills to all levels of the organization
Strong MS Office Suite, specifically advanced Excel & other reporting tool experience
Strong background in building HR Analytics through complex queries and reports.
Strong administrative and organizational skills with the proven ability to take initiative to complete assignments and responsibilities.
