MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Provides technical expertise in the areas of HR Management, consultation, and retirement and benefits support
Assists with the process of converting OPFs to eOPFs by conducting a complete review of all OPFs to ensure they are correct in accordance with law and regulations for eOPF conversion
Works with the OPM and agency staff and employees as required to accomplish the eOPF conversion of all files(approximately 600 OPFs)
Interfaces with the OPM staff and provides follow-up training to the agency staff on eOPF files management and maintenance when OPM training is complete
Prepares OPFs for submission to NARA when the eOPF conversion is complete
Conducts extensive research, counsels, produces annuity estimates, reviews official forms, and consults on OPM regulations
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
High School diploma
At least 15 years of experience in the areas of retirement and benefits and previous experience performing at the GS-13/14 level
NACI Clearance
Must have experience with providing counseling and performing calculations on FERS and CSRS retirement
Must have experience counseling on Health and Life Insurance Benefits, Thrift Savings Plan and Long Term Care Insurance
