About the role:
As a Sr. Imaging Scientist at Skybox Imaging, you will join the team responsible for developing software to process the vast amount of earth imagery obtained by our satellites.
You have background in image and signal processing and experience and a very comfortable with complex imaging systems. You will be responsible for creating advanced 3D models of scenes and atmospheric conditions. You enjoy working in a collaborative environment and have excellent communication skills including documentation and presentation skills.
Skills and Experience:
M.S. or higher in Physics, Optics, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
Minimum of 3 years of experience in image processing with a focus on image reconstruction, registration, or enhancement.
Excellent C/C++ development skills, ideally in a Unix environment
Excellent math skills relating to 3D image synthesis and ray tracing
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Matlab, Python, etc. is desired
