FireEye is looking to expand our internal incident response team. We are seeking a candidate with a high level of technical skill, and an interest in computer forensics, security and malware. You will be investigating internal alerts and incidents, determining whether action needs to be taken, performing remediation or isolation, and reporting your findings. You will be expected to have or develop competence with commercial forensic and investigation tools as well as be able to create custom tools, procedures and integrations. This position is aimed at protecting corporate assets and not preparing evidence for law enforcement or trial. You should be prepared to become an expert on FireEye products and other tools in use, continually learning on the job, and on the fly.
A bachelor?s in computer science degree, at least 5 years of documented information security work experience is required.
An ideal candidate will have a subset of the following skills:
Experience with BigFix/TEM, Juniper SRX firewalls, Riverbed Cascade Shark, and Cisco routers and switches including Nexus
Windows (desktop and server), OS X, and Linux, at a hardening and forensic level
Knowledge of authentications technologies such as AD, NIS, Duo Security, LDAP, RADIUS, TACACS+, 802.1x, NAC, Microsoft Certificate Services, and PKI in general
Familiarity with EnCase, FTK, BlackBag or other forensic examination packages
