Actiance is looking for a Senior Information Security Compliance Specialist to establish information security policies, standards, and processes that are in compliance with industry standards such as ISO 27001, SAS70, SSAE16, and SOX. In this role, the specialist will lead the efforts of defining the scope, assessing the risks, selecting the objectives and controls to be implemented, and implementing the required processes and controls. The specialist will also be responsible for ongoing updates to policies, standards, and processes, as well as validation of key controls are implemented.Job Requirements:
Develop and issue information security policies and controls based on ISO 27001, SAS70, SSAE16, SOX , and other relevant security frameworks
Manage, monitor, and maintain security policies to ensure they remain current and relevant
Publish and communicate implementation of policies, standards, and procedures throughout the organization
Develop information security training and awareness materials
Qualifications:
5+ years experience gained in the information security field
Experience working with, and ideally writing, information security policies and standards and/or developing or implementing security-related tools
Understand information security holistically and how it relates to business goals
Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communications skills with proven ability to champion causes with positive impact and change
Knowledge of information security standards and methodologies with excellent knowledge of security processes, tools and latest techniques and an in depth knowledge of risk assessment
