At Workday, our Production Infrastructure Team is focused on keeping the data center up and running.Â The focus extends beyond the physical rack and stack into the overall health of both systems and networking;Â the ultimate goal is to successfully deliver the Workday service to our customers.
Â We are looking to fill a number of positions on a new team called Infrastructure Performance.Â This team will be focused around providing solutions to help troubleshoot and scale the Workday service; all focused around an infrastructure level.
Â As a member of this team, you will be driving availability, performance and reliability of Workday's Infrastructure on a global scale. With 6 global data centers, further divided up into 11 distinct capacity units, you will help run and scale a very large complex service. You will be looked upon by the entire business to provide input into how we scale the Workday service.
Â You will leverage your background in Systems and/or Network engineering to tackle tough issues ranging from customer performance to capacity modeling, and beyond. This team will be involved in troubleshooting efforts that span the entire stack of systems, network and application. Team members will have significant influence over the ongoing design, architecture, standards and methods we use to manage and scale our Infrastructure, requiring each individual to look deep into the entire stack of systems/network/internet involved in running Workday.
