This Role Requires:
-have a passion about electrical and electronic projects, inventing solutions, and finding better and simpler ways to meet product requirements.
-have a quick and flexible approach to information gathering, design, synthesis, and collaboration.
-deep understanding of technical fundamentals and fluency with details of analog and digital circuits, power suppliers, logic/FPGA, DSP, I/O protection techniques for ESD, over-voltage. EMC/EMI/ESD safe and compliance, drive circuits for actuators, resistive and inductive loads. Robust Communication protocols and robust implementation for CAN, Ethernet, USB, Video, high data rates. Battery-powered systems with low quiescent currents and battery management circuits.
-be capable of having primary technical responsibility for circuit design, PCBA production design, component specification and selection, program requirements.
-fluency with device driver topologies and implementation, variable voltage and current drive systems, driving inductive loads, etc
-fluency with signals and noise, shielding requirements, EMC/EMI/ESD protection and conformance, grounding practices, design for environmental and durability robustness..
-engineering analysis and modeling of electrical circuits and systems using Matlab, Simulink, Spice, etc.
-building prototypes, developing and debugging benchtop systems, testing systems in engineering vehicles, supporting production and service to solve problems.
-developing and maintaining bills-of-materials and production documentation
-be comfortable working on multiple projects simultaneously, interacting with multiple teams, and gathering data necessary to succeed delivering high-quality, low-cost solutions on-time and on-budget.
