Trustwave, a leader in cloud-based compliance and information security solutions, announces an opening for a Senior Java Developer to join Trustwave's Sales Operations Team in Chicago.
The Sr. Java Developer will be developing and maintaining J2EE based customizations of our Oracle CRM OnDemand hosted solution. The goals of these applications include, simplifying sales processes, developing and furthering lead intelligence, increasing organizational reporting capabilities, and integrating disparate software systems into CRM OnDemand. Any familiarity with Oracle CRM OnDemand is desired.
Technical Requirements
5 years of experience in J2EE Development: JSP, Servlets, core java knowledge
Interacting with Web services through a SOAP-based API
Knowledge of a DBMS; ideally MySQL
5 years of experience with Linux - deployment of applications on Linux
5 years of experience with HTML/CSS and JavaScript for front-end development
Knowledge of software testing methodologies
Demonstrate a sound level of analytical and problem solving abilities
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related subject
Desired Skills
5 years of experience with a Java development framework (Struts, Spring, Hibernate)
Understanding of Apache Tomcat application servers or other application servers
Familiarity with the Eclipse IDE
General skills:
Self-starter with ability to prioritize many projects and problems independently, as they arise
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
Excellent oral and written communication skills a must
Occasional overnight travel to other Trustwave offices, domestic and international, may be required
