This position will participate in architecture, design and development of our Media Platform and software. As a part of the Platform development team, you will take responsibility in delivering on-time and using our established code standards to build rock solid and high performance technologies that have high concurrency rates. You must demonstrate good written and oral communication skills to proactively communicate with the other team members.
Some Key Responsibilities include:
Develop solutions for searching and delivering large amounts of data
Maintain and develop new features on our Media Streaming and Download Platform
Maintain and develop code for our Enterprise Platform Web Services, which include Media Fulfillment and eCommerce
Maintain and develop product solutions using Java, SQL, XML, Spring and other web technologies
Skills/Requirements/Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent practical experience
8 years of software development (design, code, test)
6 years Java development
3+ years with Oracle Database development (PL/SQL)
Proficiency with XML standards / protocols as well as developing XSDs
Experience with server-side web application development frameworks, environments, and technologies such as Spring, SOAP, REST, JBoss, Hibernate and Java
Solid knowledge and understanding of multi-threaded programming, J2EE, Linux, BASH scripting
Digital Video and/or Music or media experience preferred
