Sr. Knowledge Engineer RedSeal Systems
At RedSeal Networks we develop the latest in network security analysis software to help large enterprises and government agencies architect highly secure network controls and monitoring. RedSeal is at the forefront of IT security, working with the world?s largest service providers, financial firms, technology companies and government agencies.
The interconnectivity of modern computing architectures exposes business to unprecedented levels of risk. Unfortunately, the risks associated with today's infrastructures have grown far faster than IT organizations' ability to understand and mitigate them. Traditional security tools only evaluate a single system or device at a time, and are unable to provide insights into the systemic risks that come from the interconnectivity of servers and network devices.
RedSeal software delivers in-depth understanding of overall security posture, continuous compliance with regulations such as PCI, FISMA, and SOX, and actionable steps for risk remediation. Rather than looking at a single system or device, it analyzes and simplifies the complex interaction of firewalls, routers, load balancers and hosts throughout the infrastructure. And unlike systems that detect attacks once they occur, RedSeal identifies holes in the security infrastructure that could be exploited?before they are discovered by hackers.
RedSeal is searching for a knowledge engineer with the ability to evaluate and specify the detailed operations of security devices such as firewalls, vulnerability scanners, and other security devices and systems. If you?re a potential fit you?re passionate, driven, organized, and very smart. Your challenge is to write detailed specifications of how to parse and apply the configuration of devices for subsequent RedSeal plugin development.
