Sr. Manager, Acquisition Marketing Etsy

Etsy is looking for a highly analytical and experienced marketing professional to lead and manage our marketing acquisition efforts, with a focus on online channels (SEM, display, etc.). As Sr. Manager, Acquisition, your mission will be to construct and implement the marketing acquisition strategy to deliver optimal customer acquisition across all channels. Given Etsy's marketplace business model and existing size, a highly numerical approach, going beyond Adwords' reporting tools and leveraging our own data stack, is essential to deliver true ROI.
About the Position
Develop and implement channel strategies for affiliates and partnerships, digital advertising and PPC.
Research, plan, negotiate and execute all acquisition marketing activities in line with strategy, on time and within budget.
Daily Responsibility for marketing acquisition budgets and corresponding KPIs across all channels.
Responsible for the day to day management and evaluation of all support agencies required to deliver the marketing plan, including agency briefing, contract negotiations, target and KPI setting and evaluation, reporting and relationship management.
Set acquisition targets and spend levels through budget reforecast process. Assess the Acquisition KPIs in order to identify issues and improve performance.
Monitor, evaluate and report on campaign and acquisition success against agreed targets.
Work with creative team to brief and deliver state of the art digital marketing assets.
About you
3+ years experience in Search Engine Advertising, (including Google, Yahoo, Bing, etc) and/or driving customer acquisition in a data-intensive environment.
Deep experience managing SEM and other channels to drive customer acquisition, with proven track record of driving results.
Demonstrated ability to form strong cross functional partnerships.
Ability to balance sophisticated quantitative analysis with creative thinking and practical trade-offs to make decisions supporting team and broader business objectives.
Highly organized, attentive to detail, ability to manage and drive scalable and repeatable processes.
Very strong execution skills, and ability to drive tight project management.
Excellent communication skills to support operating with transparency and clarity.
Ability to research and stay ahead of industry trends.
