Peak 10 is looking for a smart, hardworking, high-energy, big ideas-generating content marketing and social media strategist who can help us connect, listen/learn, proactively dialogue and engage with our target audiences using a creative mix of digital and social media tactics. The Sr. Manager, Digital and Content Marketing is responsible for developing and executing a clearly defined strategy to ensure relevant content (in all forms) is shared online in support of Peak 10 initiatives to increase brand equity, online awareness and most importantly lead generation. As our digital and content expert, you will lead the content creation process to ensure rapid production and deployment of online content to drive inbound lead activity and enable support for customers. You must be a blend of strategic thinker, creator and journalist; and you will serve as the gatekeeper for all branded and thought leadership content.

You must understand how digital and content assets are produced and you will work with a range of internal and external resources to produce them.
You will own the creation and oversight of a comprehensive social sales program ? building a new lead generation channel for the organization ? and you will lead our search marketing strategy.
You will work closely with public relations, communications, marketing, customer service, IT and human resources to help define our brand story and bring it to life.

Own all components of the digital channel mix that help deliver content in unique ways. Envision and drive our digital presence from a content perspective.
Specific content marketing responsibilities will include:
Map out a content strategy that supports and extends marketing initiatives.
Using our buyer personas, ensure all content is on-brand, consistent in terms of style, quality and tone of voice, and search engine optimized for all channels of content including online, social media, email, mobile, video, telephony, print and in-person.
Write, edit, publish, distribute and monitor content through multiple online channels.
Leverage market data to develop content themes/topics and execute a plan to develop the assets that support a point of view and educate customers that leads to critical behavioral metrics.
Develop standards, tools and best practices for content creation, distribution, maintenance, content retrieval and content repurposing.
Guide the work activities of writers, editors and content strategists; be an arbiter of best practices in grammar, messaging, writing, and style.
Create, maintain and execute a content/editorial calendar and posting schedule.
Train content and social media contributors, set policy where appropriate to ensure best practices
In collaboration with the marketing research team, set and monitor benchmarks for measuring impact and effectiveness of digital media programs and provide optimization recommendations.
Specific social media responsibilities will include:
Plan, manage, coordinate and execute all social media programs & initiatives, leveraging content and social media contributors across the organization. Work closely with other marketing team members to ensure tight integration of all social media programs with all lead generation initiatives.
Execute a social sales program.
General digital marketing responsibilities will include:
Drive online search campaigns from a strategic key word perspective, monitor performance and adjust plans to achieve results.
Identify and co-develop with the lead generation team targeted promotions or online events suited for the digital space to drive brand distinction, affinity for branded campaigns and lead generation.
Be a thought-leader, subject matter expert and influencer for all issues associated with engagement marketing.

Requires a Bachelor?s degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, Public Relations or a related field.
Experience in the tech sector preferred.
Seven years of experience developing and/or executing digital marketing communication plans. At least three years overseeing specific social media activities directly.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to rapidly create editorial
content. Outstanding command of the English language.
Training as a print or broadcast journalist with a ?nose? for creation of an engaging story using words, images, or audio. Demonstrated ability to think and act like a publisher.
Experience using high-profile social platforms and tools (i.e. LinkedIn, Facebook, Spiceworks, Vocus, Radian6, Google Alerts and TweekDeck).
Ability to integrate social media into broader marketing campaigns.
Ability to identify threats and opportunities within the user generated content space and make quick decisions.
Experience in integrating content into multiple social distribution channels.
Knowledge and understanding of technology, web analytics and the latest trends in social media.
Solid understanding of organic search processes and optimization techniques.
Ability to recommend and/or co-create content strategies, and content therein, to support active marketing touch point plans.
Demonstrated understanding of the media research discipline.
Exhibits a strong ability to handle multiple demands with a sense of urgency, drive and energy.
Demonstrated planning and execution skills required.
Strong understanding of public relations principles a plus.
Proficient with Microsoft Office products.
