The role of Corporate Communications will be responsible for aligning our corporate communications strategies with the overall company and marketing goals. You are creative, positive, and have high-energy with hands-on experience and excitement for new technologies and emerging trends and use your visionary storytelling talents and passion to develop and execute innovative, proactive, and strategic programs leveraging traditional media, social media and analyst relationships. You will drive a consistent brand reputation by establishing Imperva as a category leader, and ensuring that Imperva achieves and maintains the highest share of voice in the category.
Develop and implement communications strategies and messaging that resonate with customers, the news media and shareholders to promote Imperva?s business developments, products and innovations
Grow and execute a scalable, global PR and AR plan by managing media relations to sustain and enhance Imperva?s reputation, including serving as a company spokesperson and developing, cultivating and managing media relations with global news agencies
Develop and manage positioning of executives as thought leaders
Manage key industry communications issues and serve as a liaison with industry associations helping ensure Imperva and the industry?s interests are advanced
Advise Imperva?s executives on external communications, including external message development and delivery, and media relations
Prioritize and manage multiple demanding projects in a fast paced, constantly changing environment
Develop consumable storytelling to move the needle with proven, hands-on experience developing and executing integrated communications campaigns
Bachelor?s degree in marketing communications, journalism, communications, public relations, or a related field
Corporate communications experience, 50+% on corporate side; software company experience preferred
Proven experience developing and executing integrated communications programs within scope and budget
Demonstrated results increasing company awareness using social media tools and communications tactics
Ability to think strategically and analytically, and make sound decisions quickly and efficiently
Experience leading cross functional teams as well as direct employees and agencies
Skilled in working with a broad cross-section of media/influencers with well-developed skills in building and extending media/influencer relationships
Excellent writing abilities with extensive experience in all forms of corporate and executive communication, key message and content development
Significant experience in effectively handling high-profile communications issues, demonstrating sound judgment and persuasive counseling to senior management
Strong leadership, spokesperson, and interpersonal skills with an executive presence
Ability to juggle multiple projects through highly effective organizational skills
