The Sr. Manager of Lifecycle Marketing will be responsible for the management of lifecycle campaigns, pipeline influence, campaign analytics and supporting the management of business performance. This individual will plan, oversee and be held accountable for the implementation and evaluation of all marketing strategic and tactical activities. In this role, the candidate will manage the campaigns team and work cross-functionally with key leaders from sales, solutions marketing, client services and creative to determine and develop comprehensive lifecycle programs with shared objectives and success metrics. While this is a management role, the candidate must be able to contribute individually to support team projects. The ideal person will have strong analytical abilities be able to coordinate across functional boundaries, manage a talented team of individuals and creatively contribute to campaign efforts.
Specific job responsibilities include:
Set strategy and manage the development of integrated lifecycle campaign plans and program strategies; which include targeting prospects and clients, as well as segmenting business decision makers and marketing professionals.
Engage with sales teams to align marketing strategies and execute business goals
Engage with product and marketing teams to align GTM strategies and contribute to a comprehensive marketing mix
Analyze campaign analytics, pipeline and closed revenue to identify the key lead gen vehicles for driving incremental revenue
Establish ROI by program to drive investment decisions
Manage overall development and success of the lifecycle marketing campaigns team
Establish cross-functional planning teams to ensure alignment shared goals and success metrics
Stay current on marketing trends and best practices; modify campaigns to ensure a high-level functionality
Source and manage outside vendors to augment internal capabilities
Skills and Experience Necessary for the Role:
What skills and experience are necessary for this position (tangible and non-tangible)?
Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field. MBA highly preferred.
Minimum 7-10 years in driving online, automated go-to-market campaigns and lead generation efforts
Creative thinker while analytical at the same time and a huge passion for taking risks
2+ years demand generation experience in a supervisory management role with accountability for the success of campaigns, lead generating programs and budget
Proven track record of managing lead nurture programs, creating content on demand and articulating creative direction to internal and external resources.
Excellent analytical, planning and process development skills
Ability to synthesize data, conduct analysis, and make strategic business recommendations.
Experience with Salesforce and marketing automation services (e.g. Eloqua, Marketo and Manticore)
Detail oriented; ability to prioritize work load for team to optimize efficiency.
Experience bringing SaaS applications and services to market
Experience with integrated, cross-platform, campaign management including SEO, SEM, email marketing, online and offline media placements, and online and offline events
Experience in developing cross-functional teams and driving alignment
High level of initiative and strong business judgment
Ability to move fast and have some fun!
