The Senior Manager, Paid Media Services is responsible for strategy and execution of clients? paid search marketing and paid social campaigns, which includes: understanding client goals, developing account plans to hit those goals, and executing on key strategies and tactics, and communicating results to internal and external stakeholders.
This person will need to have strong project management skills, be highly analytical and organized, think strategically, understand business drivers, be a team player, and effectively use analytics and modeling to make decisions. Marketing experience in the personal computing or high-tech vertical a plus. Must be a team player and love solving customer challenges.
Responsibilities:
Build, present and articulate advanced SEM and intent-driven media strategies
Maintain, forecast and track complex, multi-dimensional budgets
Build and manage project workflow and deliverable process
Manage program to budget and ensure high profitability
Develop and implement best-in-class search marketing techniques
Execute search marketing tactics, including: keyword research, ad copy creation, campaign performance tracking & reporting, A/B testing, analysis & segmentation of website user data, complex ROI modeling
Serve as primary point of contact for clients, conduct meetings, manage expectations
Manage campaigns to effectively reach client KPIs
Continually evaluate and improve the effectiveness of campaigns
Continually evaluate new opportunities for growth and expansion
Manage accounts with multiple search engine vendors both domestic and international
Monitor competitive landscape and industry trends / constantly review the marketplace for new online opportunities
Minimum Qualifications:
2 - 5 years hands-on search engine marketing experience
2 -5 years account management experience, with high-tech marketing experience a plus
At least 1 year project management experience as project owner or project lead
BA/BS, MBA preferred
Proficient with Excel, Word, Power Point
Independent, self reliant, with high standards for quality
Team player - Ability to work with multiple cross-functional external and internal groups
Strong analytical skills with experience analyzing large datasets to gain insights and drive business decisions
Excellent writing & communication skills
Proven track record of success
Knowledge of computer & technology products
Ability to multitask in fast-paced dynamic environment
Preferred Experience (not required):
Experience working with Omniture, WebTrends, Urchin, Coremetrics
Experience with search engine marketing toolsets
Familiarity with paid social campaigns on Facebook and Twitter
