Reporting to the Senior Director, Merchant Optimization, the Senior Manager, Sales Operations is responsible for supporting our sales organization with the implementation and support of our processes and methodologies.
Lead and manage all workflow processes related to LivingSocial?s sales activities.
Define business requirements for all new initiatives and enhancement requests related to sales processes and CRM tools (SFDC).
Serve as the main liaison to the product development team, including prioritization of initiatives and key stakeholder reviews.
Work closely with our Analytics team to implement key performance metrics and dashboards that help the sales organization focus on performance drivers. Produce reporting to senior management on a weekly and monthly basis.
Partner with L&D to assist in developing and executing training program in partnership for everyone associated with the sales process.
Work with Senior Sales Leadership to enable best practices.
Manage a team of 2-3 people
5-10 years of experience managing sales operations preferably in a software startup environment
Strong understanding of sales processes and sales methodologies
Experience using and administering CRM software (Salesforce.com)
Ability to evaluate and present effective solutions for sales, merchant and business needs.
Flexibility and adaptability to shifting needs, evolving priorities, and urgent situations that arise
Ability to work well in a team environment (sales, marketing, product, finance, operations, etc.)
Highly analytical, self-motivated and metrics-driven
Prior sales or account management experience highly desirable
Ability to travel occasionally
